I wonder how a guy with those writing directing producing skills, with that many projects going all the time, has the time to take a nice but small roll like Dr. Bettes in "As Good As it Gets." He did the roll very well, and was well cast.... Maybe he just enjoyed hanging out with Jack and Helen? Ramis was a guy who did things on his terms - I think he really liked the bit parts in smart comedies where people would see him and say, "EGON!". He didn't need to be the big star or dominate the screen time. His writing spoke for itself.Anyhow, keep it in mind, good people, that no matter how much money, no matter how successful, anything over 50 and you're living on borrowed time. Yep. Life's precious. You have to live every second of it to the fullest.
