I would definitely keep the 6% so that you get your match. If you want to fund a roth because of the increased flexibility, so be it.I personally fund 6% to my 401K, then 2,000 to my Roth, then any extra goes to the 401K. I like what I do, and feel that it is a good strategy. It works for me!!
