I would just like to say I am LOVING this drug. So far. I've been on it almost 2 weeks and I feel like a whole new person... but I also still feel like ME! YEAH.This is awesome news, Becca!! I am so happy for you. It's not ultra common, but it's mentioned more than once. Honestly, as annoying as it is, I feel so good as far as the bipolar stuff that it's worth it to me to feel like I have a UTI even if I don't. I don't know if you'd want to add another drug/chemical to the mix, but if in fact you don't have an infection but just the symptoms you might ask your doc about this?: http://www.azoproducts.com/standard/standard.asp.I've used it before with a UTI for pain relief for a day until I had a chance to get to the doctor and it works great. I think it used to be automatically prescribed along with the antibiotics because I vaguely remember taking it as a prescription thing when I was a kid/teenager, but it's also sold over the counter now. I wanted to share the site I found here. First because I am very impressed by the med. Second because of DD2's situtation with her dad. Several people noted that this was their last hope before ECT and it worked. Maybe he's tried it, maybe not, but I thought I'd provide the info just the same. (Lamictal works on both mania and depression, but especially on the depression.)Thanks so much for thinking about me and my dad!! I'm not sure if he's tried this one either, but I will definitely pass it along. The memory and spelling/wrong word issues have been so awful for him with ECT I can't imagine that the Lamictal would be any worse. But I am really hoping that I tolerate this because it is really just working better than I could have ever imagined. And would you believe it's an appetite suppresent, too??? What more could I ask for?Wow, no kidding, sounds like a perfect fit for you. I'll keep sending those “no rash!” thoughts your way!! Thanks again for sharing your success with it, so glad that it's working for you.
