I would love to go there. Have you ever to been to St. Michael's Mount in south Cornwall? It is really interesting - has it's own little micro environment that allows plants that are usually only found much further south. arreteArrete you would love it, tourist cha-cha aside, it is magical. No, I haven't been to St. Michaels Mount, but learned that It was given to Mont St. Michel by Edward the Confessor in 1044, and was a sister priory until dissolution by Henry V. Both abbeys produced magnificently illustrated manuscripts. Saw one in Musee Cluny today that took my breath away. mcb
