Thanks.I have never had to do this, but if you go to; e.g., http://setiathome.berkeley.edu/prefs.php?subset=global(your account preferences), you will find a line that reads"Use at most" where you can set the amount of CPU that can be used.You might set it to 50% at first and see if that reduces your CPU heat. One setting will handle all your BOINC applications after they contact the server.
