I would suggest going to control panel >> remove programs >> look for things not familiar.
Some sites like CNET (download.c om) and others are putting crapware on computers with downloads to help boost the bottom line. When downloading any software, read the print to opt out/in. Never be complacent.
Funny (not so) about CNET, they say they screen all the software to insure no malware, yet they are adding their own crapware.
