I would suggest you check your credit report at least once a year, more often if you are planning for a big credit purchase (a home or car). Check with all 3 agencies as some creditors will prefer one agency over another. Keep copies of any letters you write that dispute info on the report. I am attempting to have about 5 pages of outdated and/or incorrect info removed from my report (see my post of 4/7).
