I wouldn't want one for free with free ammo for life. I think guns in the house are as much danger-promoting as safety-promoting, although I support the right to own guns (up to a point) for those who think/feel differently. Stats sure suggest that. A gun in the home is four times more likely to hurt or kill someone accidentally and 11x more likely to be used in a suicide attempt than it is to be used for self-defense. They make people feel safer though.
