Integra Lifesciences Closes Newdeal Buy

Biotechnology company Integra LifeSciences Holdings Corp. said Monday that it completed the purchase of Newdeal Technologies, a maker of reconstructive surgery products, for more than $50 million, in a move to bolster its offerings for foot and ankle surgery.

...paid 39.5 million euros, or about $53 million, for the French company. Integra first announced the deal in November, estimating a slightly lower price of 38.5 million euros.

...Officials at Integra said it expects Newdeal's products to complement its regenerative skin products used to treat wounds of the foot and ankle.
