I'd feel foolish if I spent twice as much on a First Class airline ticket when every passenger arrives at the destination at the same time.

My wife and I have always wanted to go to Australia/New Zealand but have been put off by the incredibly long flight. Just this afternoon, my wife asked why, if we have "all this money" with Vanguard and rarely spend it, we couldn't fly business class if we were to go. I recall checking the biz and first class fares some time ago and they just blew me away! But she may have a point: you can't take it with you and there's something to be said for being comfortable during an 18 - 20 hour flight.
