I'd like to add baking soda to the list of cleaners. It works as well as most of the name-brand non-scratching cleansers. I've been using it to clean our white porcelain kitchen sink for several months now. All you have to do is get the surface damp and then sprinkle some of the soda on and rub it with a damp cloth. What the soda doesn't get up, I bleach out by filling the sink with water and adding about 1/2 cup of bleach. Then I use the bleach solution in the sink to wipe down my counters. The same type of process works in the bathroom. Scrub with the baking soda to scrape off the grungies and then wipe everything down with a bleach solution.

I also use baking soda and water to clean the microwave. Put a measuring cup with two tablespoons of baking soda and one cup of water in the microwave. Cook it until the water's boiled for about 30 seconds. Everything just wipes off.
