I'd say you don't much like Luther.


I don't like anyone that holds such vile views. Why should I? Why should you?

One website I looked at mentioned that Luther apparently wrote that pamphlet in response to what was described as the "ritual cursing" of Christians by Jews in the Talmud. Unfortunately, I couldn't find any links to back up that statement...I'm not saying they don't exist, but even if they do,so what? Jews were certainly in no position to physically harm anyone during any time in Luther's life.


Luther also comes across as both a complete clown and a scary fanatic in this book by William Manchester:

A World Lit Only by Fire: The Medieval Mind and the Renaissance: Portrait of an Age
by William Manchester

Manchester is probably one of the (if not THE) most respected historian currently alive in the USA, so I'm assuming his conclusions were accurate.
