Rumors this am are saying Greece's problems are getting worse making default on their govt bonds likely.

What will be the effect on US markets of a default in Greece?

Flight to quality should drive up prices (and interest rates down) on US Treasuries. And that may extend to better quality corporate bonds.

Will multinational corporations be impacted by problems in Greece or Europe? Yes, but with cents/share impact on earnings, but not to the extent of bond defaults.

Is this another buying opportunity? And if so where?
