If I buy the Turbotax Deluxe program, will I be able to e-file both fed and CA state tax?

Does the program cost more to e-file?

Straight from Intuit's mouth:

If one has to pay, what is the best way to do it if e-filing?

I tend to send a check, just to slow down the painful process even more.

Do most people that use Turbotax e-file, and what are the ramifications of doing so or not?

Having the IRS electronically accept the return makes a lot of folks more comfortable. Particularly if they don't trust USPS or don't want to deal with certified mail.

I, personally, think the e-filing fee is exorbitant, so I mail my return.
