Recently I posed a question on one of the boards here at the Fool. It was a child support question in which I refered to my ex-brother-in-law as a worthless jerk.

I was chastised for the comment, to which I apologized. But I've been thinking about it.

I was told: "Stop calling your neice and nephew's father "that worthless jerk". I mean ever, like not to your sister, not in front of the kids, not in front of people who will one day talk in front of your kids, not in the privacy of your own bedroom, just Never.

The internet is another place to try to hard to avoid the basic emotional crutch of denouncing "that loser" / "worthless jerk" / "deadbeat". We're not Saints, so eventually these opinions leak out, but if we at least stop leading with them, they become less part of our everyday vocabulary and everyday look on life.
"

So, I simply need to come up with a nicer name for a adulterous/manipulitive/liar-who-won't-pay-child-support. I thought jerk was being fairly nice.
