What is a "second amendment solution" supposed to mean, exactly, if it's not a threat of violence? And for that matter, what message is the name "Tea Party" intended to convey, if not the threat of violent insurrection? And what do Tea Partiers mean when they talk about watering the tree of liberty with the blood of tyrants? It's not a gardening metaphor. If you're going to make thinly veiled threats about your willingness to employ violence to bring about political change, it seems queer to get upset when people take you at your word.
