If the car is being stored off the street (preferably in a garage) and is not driveable, the insurance costs are minimal. A restored car or collectible is rarely driven and one can obtain full coverage, with liability for about $400.00 a year; depending on where in the country you live.

I feel that when climbing out of debt we have had to give up a lot of the *warm fuzzies* we grew used to. Being able to have something, even if it's an old, non-driveable car, can ease some of the stress. The growing up part is when he realizes that some of the blame/responsibility is his and he gets over the anger and just moves forward.

Again, I applaud Mom for her hard work.
