If the suggestions posted here do not achieve the cooperation you are wishing from your husband, this might work:

I usually do not condone violence, but if phrased correctly, might be construed as therapy.

"Honey, we need to discuss our financial situation..."

"Don't want to, not gonna! It's all your fault!"

"Dear, we REALLY need to discuss our finances."

"Didn't you hear me? I said NO!"

ZZZ Pow Bang Zap

"Now dear, I'll give you a minute to compose yourself and get up off the floor. When I come back in here, I hope you'll be ready to cooperate. I'd hate to have to do this again!"

(He incoherently mumbles something while searching the carpet for his contact lenses.)

Now go pour yourself a glass of wine and set the timer for five minutes. Repeat as often as necessary until desired result is achieved.

Of course, this is suggested in jest. (Really.) But if it works for you, let me know...

Keep on track, and try to smile now and then. I do wish you all the best and read your posts, sending good thoughts your way.
