If the WA State site has $6350, it's likely a typo.

I just double checked. It does say 6350 for 3 different plans.

The least expensive plan for a 64 year old smoker earning 2500 a month

Multi-State Plan Blue Cross Bronze 5250 HSAMore Information on this plan

$ 5250
Out-of-Pocket Maximum
$ 5250
Emergency Room
$ 0
Estimated Premium
$ 144.11
Estimated price after $425.91 tax credit
Primary Care Co-Pay

The only thing I change is smoking.

Oh, as a smoker the person doesn't qualify for Group Health basic which is cheaper, but has a $40.00 Primary Co-pay and a $200.00 ER charge.

The same plan as above is 104 premium and 425 estimated price after tax credit for the non smoker. Why would the estimated price after tax credit be the same. Oh, less of a credit because of smoking.

I just went to the Dr (really a ARPN) for a UI the other day. I paid when I went, it was $50.00 for the visit (they did the lab test right there) and prescription (10 day antibiotics).

That was really cheaper than me going to the VA (I'm retired disable military), considering the time off of work and the 35 mile each way drive.
