If they shoot up the cost of postage stamps to cover their losses they will simply drive even more business away from them making the losses even bigger.


The easiest way to save the US PS is to completely privatize it. Auction it to the highest bidder. See if any private company would take it on.

Allow the private company to void any/all union contracts and determine whether to hire Union labor.


Honestly it is hilarious hearing union folks make claims like, "we produce higher quality products", "we're more cost effective than shipping labor to other countries", and other such silliness.

If any of that that were true, you wouldn't have nearly every company working to get rid of their union labor force. You wouldn't require union friendly democrats crafting legislation and regulations to dictate the use of union labor.

No one, except the democrat electorate, believes that union labor is worth its cost - not even the union leaders and laborers believe the nonsense.
