If you have maxed out on your tax-deffered options (good for you!), then we're talking taxable accounts.

I would recommend going to the "investing strategies" page here at TMF. Consider opening a brokerage account and dollar-cost-averaging. TMF has some interesting strategies including the popular "Foolish Four". Also consider joining an investment club and contributing some $ every month (if you are interested in learning to analyze companies).
