If you read the class action papers carefully, you'll see that the real amount proposed by the crooked lawyers in the settlement is around 7 cents per share (hardly worth filling out the form). The other figures you cite are what you might get if the case didn't settle or you opted out of the class and sued yourself. This is yet another argument to do away with class actions, because invariably only the lawyers get rich, not the wronged shareholders.
