If you think I am evaluating it based on its performance during that timeframe, then no no no no no. :-) I have just uncovered a lot of evidence in my ongoing research over the last month or so, that there is a better fund to accomplish my goal for that part of my portfolio.

I bought VGTSX (Total International Stock Index) in an attempt to further diversify my portfolio with international stocks. However, I now think that thanks to the globalized economy, it might not be offering as much diversification as I would like. VEIEX (Emerging Markets Stock Index Fund) is now looking like a better alternative.

If I am guilty of moving too quickly, I am afraid that was done when making the original choice. :-)

Thanks!
Joe

I dunno about Vanguard, but it occurs to me that you might be moving a bit too quickly in second guessing one of your funds. A few weeks (or months) is a really short time to evaluate a fund (or stock) over.
