If you want to diversify a little more, but can handle some volatility, check out USAA Precious Metals and Minerals (USAGX).

Allow ME to suggest Vanguard's Precious Metals & Mining fund:

Notice the difference in the expense ratio between the USAA fund and the Vanguard Fund. That's money that could go into your pocket.

I've made well over 60% in this fund last year.

My motto: NEVER NEVER NEVER buy a load fund -- or ANY fund with high management fees when you can find one equal or better with less cost to you.

But my number ONE motto: Never NEVER NEVER NEVER do business with Merrill Lynch or buy funds through a broker (when there is a fee to the broker for such a purchase).

....doing quite well, thank you.
