If your 401K has grown by 6 figures in the past three years then you should be another Warren Buffet. Dude there aren't many that can say their 401K balance is higher now than it was last year excluding any money they added to it payday after payday.

I'm not a Warren Buffet, primarily just invest in index funds in my 401k... Which has increased by nearly $200k in the last 3 years... And I stopped contributing when I quit my last job in the fall of 2015. So there are contributions in there, but the stock market has grown as well... about 25% over the past 3 years not including dividends.

Started investing in my 401k in 1997.
