If your sister is still in debt or has had any trouble staying out of it in her life, I would say that the even *better* thing you can do for her is to sit down with her and discuss a budget. What she can spend on what each month and how she can stick to it. That would do her far much more future good than a credit score.

She has no debt other than the car. She has a credit card with a 500 dollar limit. I just found this out so I do not know the details of where she got it and how it can be used. The most recent financial snafu has to do with paying the dentist for work done on my nephew. The ex claimed to have insurance, but apparently 'lied', so now they are fighting over who is gonna pay, and the ex is threatening to take custody, blah blah blah. Amazing how some poop (ie the ex) manages to float to the top and come out smelling like roses ...
