IGU,

You provided no spreadsheet we could play with to see your unstated assumptions. We can't duplicate your results. Ray's I can see and work through for myself.
Each IUL provider treats its distribution sequence of mortality costs as trade secrets, so you won't be able to DIY.

The veracity and accuracy of it is backed up by 50 state and various federal regulatory agencies, in addition to very hard-focused Wall Street competition none too happy about the realities.

The only way to show that Ray is wrong is to show what numbers he's put into his spreadsheet that are wrong, or to show what formulas he's using that are wrong
I've done that, repeatedly.
A. he contniues to ignore the costs of the voatility risks
B. he continues to ignore the fact that IULs include dividends,
C. he continues to ignore the actual IUL performance nubmers provided.

But I'm seeing a lot of willful blindness: since IUL's are great, adjust the facts to match that belief.
If you go back to the beginning... months ago... you will find that from the very outset I have stated that IULs outperform on an apples-to-apples basis, risk included.

Ray explicitly demurred, acknowledging that he couldn't (or perhaps didn't want to) structure anything of similar risk profile that outperforms... *THEN* said "let's compare how they do anyway."

So now we see no particular surprise...
If you are willing to gamble and lose, you have some chance of getting a jackpot and winning.

If you are unwilling to gamble your retirement, the IUL is superior (at least to anything trotted out here so far on a risk-weighted basis.)
