I'm dead against talking to an investment broker. I've had enough!
Virtually every stock was heading down last year and the fund managers still did not have the intelligence to get their clients out of the mutual funds. I lost 1/2 of my account value, only to find out later that a simple test could have told them that THE WHOLE MARKET is going down.

If you turn onto a street and ALL OF THE TRAFFIC is coming toward you, then you quickly know that you are on the wrong side of the street, or going down a one way street, the wrong way. If EVERY stock is going down, do you they they knew that the whole market was going down?

I manage my own portfolio now and have taken complete control of my investments and you know what? It's simpler than I ever imagined. After all they years of listening to idiots who, it is clear now, were only interested in getting my money!
