I'm happy to do it, just don't term me "Grandmaster", cause I'm far from it! Grandpimp might not be so bad though... :-)

We can make it a running tourney. We set up brackets and play the games. Losers drop out of the running touney and can play free games as they wish. After the tourney is over, you get "seeded" based on your record (why don't we keep records of how we do on the board, in non-tourney and tourney games) and where you finished in the tourney. Then immediately the next tourney starts. New board members get seeded towards the bottom. For example:

Let's say JT wins a tourney and beats mj in the final game. ga and I lost in the semi-finals, Clones and three others in the round before. Rankings would go:
1st - JT
2nd - mj
3rd and 4th is based on ga's and my record
5th - 8th based on Clones and the three others' record. Sound like a plan?

And then nearly immediately the next tourney starts up. We'll have to put some rules into play, like games must be finished by a certain date so that rounds can start and finish whenever. We'll figure that out as we go...we don't have to start it right away...

Chris
