I'm holding my two shares, since selling them would net me about $3 more than the commission to sell them. I had the same problem back with McData, spun off from EMC years ago.I had that problem with EMC and McData also. Not long ago I ended up selling both EMC and McData on the same day. I figure I can use the original basis for EMC as the cost basis for my sales of EMC + McData. I wanted to clean my portfolio out--that's why I got rid of the McData. But, now I'm thinking, who really cares ... Why not just continue to hold (and ignore) those little spin-offs?So, in any case, I take it that our basis in DIS is to decline. (Right?) But, I couldn't find any info on the Disney site about what the new basis is to be.--SirTas
