I'm inclined to add the 2 512s of RAM: Here's my crucial scan result page:

Try newegg.com. Matched Corsair (one of the top manufacturers) 512M chips are $71 including shipping:

If you take this route, I'd suggest removing the 256M chips and inserting the two 512M chips in slots 1 & 2. Depending on your mother board & memory, memory may operate at a lower speed if all slots are filled.

If you want to simply add more 256M chips, try 2 of these for $21.6 each:
