I'm just wondering if anyone is still giving this a run.As Eric Hines (aka bacon) noted, the Foolish Four strategy has been disavowed by TMF. This was after more extensive data and analysis showed the strategy to be no more effective than buy-and-hold of the DOW itself, after accounting for trading costs.I belive some few people still use the F4 or a similar method as part of a diversified portfolio. This web site tracks one of these similar strategies. I'm not recommending this site, their newsletter or anything like that, just posting the link for reference.http://www.dogsofthedow.com/ On a personal note, I was invested in the F4 for a year. I was holding Sears and Goodyear when they were both booted from the Dow. I've moved on to the Foolish Workshop screens, those now mostly covered on the MI board, which currently has nearly all of the FW traffic.-R
