i'm not a franchise owner but am very familiar with ace's business. their growth is not going to come from selling franchises but from opening addl company stores. they have a very good package and great looking stores also they are have the concept of building new stores down to a well run science.(i guess that sounds silly) anyway they are good at it. the only question in my mind is can they generate enough profit on their growth since the check cashing industry is not as high margin as people think. If you are considering franchising as a significant source of revenue you should look elsewhere especially since many of their company stores compete with their francisees.
