I'm not clever enough to be disappointed in Obama. Having said that, the prospect that the Republicans would ever nominate someone as reasonable as Huntsman is very exciting. I could easily wind up supporting Huntsman against Obama.
I could concievably support Romney against Obama. I hate the lying in the primary season where Romney paints policies on himself that he hopes will get him the support of the dingdongs. If he'll do that, then you know whatever he does in the main election is also just paint, washable paint at that. So voting for a candidate like that is an exercise in meta-meta-meta-voting. You have to completely guess what the guy will do when he isn't running anymore, and in the case of the president, not running anymore may well not start until the 5th year of the presidency.
It is a fascinating primary process that precludes a candidate from winning by saying "here is what I believe and you just KNOW I would kick Obama's arse if I ran against him like this." Nooo. The primary voters want someone with bat-guano crazy marker policies like life begins at foreplay and foreigners should be dessicated and sent out of the country in flat envelopes.
Go Huntsman! Or rather, go republican primary voters!
