I'm not familiar with insulin level readings. I know blood glucose and I know A1C values (and 11 would be a super high one of those), but I would guess that as in all things diabetes, the question is one of patterns. If has been steadily increasing, that's something to take up with your Dr. Since you are getting this value at your physicals, talk to your doctor about it. If necessary, go twice a year or more often.

Who thinks you should discuss all lab results about which you have questions with your doctor...
