I'm not sure how NCLB enters into this.

I appreciate her problem, but what does NCLB have to do with it?

My sisters response, not mine. I simply want to expose as much as possible concerning this issue from someone in the trenches.

"I wonder how a person could not know how NCLB enters in. NCLB is affecting every single teacher and school in the country with extremely unrealistic goals. District after district cannot meet the goals and become "Program Improvement Schools". That's what we are. Now we have to raise the test scores to a certain level or the threat is that the state will come in and "take over". How they plan to take over all the schools on improvement plans is a mystery, since there are already so many. Is this person who answered an educator?!"
