I'm opening this board for people who vacation in Walt Disney World, are planning a trip to WDW, own in the Disney Vacation Club or are thinking of buying the DVC.

Yeehah!! A 'fool' board devoted to one of my favorite topics!

Not exactly here to ASK questions but willing to lurk and perhaps learn a thing or two. Even after 40+ trips to WDW, I find I can still learn something I did not know before.

Currently holding APs and planning an Easter trip to WDW. Staying at the Poly - our resort of choice. Meeting my sister and her kids at the resort. Planning to enjoy showing the ropes to some newbies.

Hoping this board does NOT focus on DVC as that holds no interest for me whatsoever. My vacation time is too precious to allow some outfit to tell me what I want is not available when I want it. With judicious use of my AP discount as well as keeping abreast of codes on the Mousesaver's site I feel I do okay. And should I decide to skip a year, no problem! (Okay, the only year we've not been to 'the world' since our first visit with kids in 1985 was 1992.) Besides...no daily housekeeping?? Wow, that would be a problem for our brood....

Teri ... sliding into 'active lurk' mode.....
