I'm spending a lot of time at TJ's these days, I just picked up several reall good bottles of wine in the $3-$6 range. The Denis Marchais Cabernet Sauvignon is very good and should have a lot of the $20 Cabernet makers scared...

So I stopped by on my way home from work. No Denis Marchais. They didn't know what it is. So I took their last two bottles of Wildwater Creek Cab, and a few bottles of Kestral Merlot, both at $4.99.

I didn't take the Mayacamas Cab at $49.99, or the Chateau St. Jean Cinq Cépage, also $49.99. I think my coarse unrefined taster couldn't properly appreciate $50 cab (actually Cinq Cépage is a blend of five grapes.) But I do love good sparkley! Schramsberg! Yummm.
