I'm starting to get sick of doritoes, and chips in general. The last few bags just aren't floating my boat like they used to.

I find myself in a similar position. One of my indulgences is a meal at Taco Bell. I typically get the discounted Meal Deal #3, which is a Gordita Supreme, Diet Pepsi, and Doritos. Then I add a Fresco Chicken Soft Taco.

Here's the deal: The Fresco Chicken Soft Taco is 150 calories, the same as the 1 oz. bag of Doritos. But I don't eat the Doritos; I take them home in case I need 150 extra calories. (This happens, as I have a fairly generous calorie allowance.) For the past few months, I've found that when I need 150 or 200 more calories in the day, the Doritos aren't at the top of my list. I'd rather have a banana and an orange, or dried plums, or whole wheat bread, or Greek yogurt.

During tax season, the accumulated 1 oz. bags of Doritos got donated to the other volunteers at the VITA site. Now, my daughter is taking them. When/if daughter starts eating healthier, I don't know what I'll do with them; but they are sitting around the house and not calling my name at all.

I never would have predicted my tastes would change like this.
