I'm trading this strategy using FAA, the airline ETF. However, Guggenheim just closed the fund last Friday. Bummer! It only had 23 million in assets so they baled on it. Now there is no ETF to trade this strategy.

The last trade has been a big winner, up about 40% since a buy in October. Unfortunately with the fund closing, Guggenheim sold out on Friday. Of course, the XAL has continued to soar this week but I am out, trying to decide which individual stocks to trade with this.

The XAL is an equal dollar weighted index of 14 stocks, rebalanced quarterly:
Republic Airways Holding Inc RJET
Hawaiian Holdings HA

Ryanair Holdings Ads RYAAY
Gol - Linhas Aereas Inteligentes S.A. GOL
Alaska Air Group Inc ALK
Lan Airlines SA LFL
JetBlue Airways Corp JBLU
Delta Air Lines Inc DAL
Copa Holdings SA CPA
Skywest Inc SKYW
Southwest Airlines Co LUV
Ual Corp UAL
US Airways Group Inc LCC

FAA had 45% of the fund in DAL,UAL and LUV so it wasn't exactly tracking XAL, but it was close enough.
