I'm with Lindytoes...I think MEK's posts are excellent and often very thought provoking. Thanks, MEK

If I dropped dead tomorrow, I'd know I had had a really WONDERFUL life. It has been a ball...

I have always thought my regrets were that I didn't have a third child and didn't complete an academic project that was a personal goal.

But my only REAL regret is that I haven't done enough to make the world a better place.

I believe that was/is my purpose in life, inasmuch as one has a personal "purpose in life" and I just haven't followed through. I've had all the advantages of education, love, lots of laughter, work I loved, friends, supportive family, no grim financial worries,,(,just ordinary ones...)but the stuff I may have done to try and help others has been piddling. That's a big regret.

I still have time.

Even doing a little small scale thing may help someone sometime, and make their world better...so I have to keep going.
