I was asked to look at a problem with one of our department Intranet sites today. There is a "Profiles" section for each employee and it seems that some of the employee photos are not always rendering completely.

The image is being displayed in a table that is within another table cell. When the image does not render properly, it displays the full height of the image but only about one third of the width. If you refresh the screen, the full image is loaded.

Could this be caused by the fact that the image tag does not have a height and width defined? I didn't think of that at first but it just dawned on me to check the code for that and it is not there.

Any other ideas?
