IMHO the "experts" are to Wise to be Foolish. If you can sleep at night with 80% stocks, then that is right for you. For me, I don't like bonds. They have never been good to me and I loose sleep and money when I have them in my portfolio. Good stocks have a better chance of making you more money and/or keeping up with inflation better then bonds ever thought of. If you want to loose purchasing power (money) on your portfolio, buy bonds. This is just my opinion and nothing to back it up but the great fantastic return of my all stock portfolio. No Bonds for meVagabond
