IMO it is always better NOT to include a link that automatically creates a recommendation when you click on it. I like to choose that myself.

The link does not automatically create a recommendation. To do that, you'd have to click on the Recommend button yourself. All that happened is that the OP put in the link to the post just after he rec'd it, so you're seeing the screen he saw at that point.

You would have to recommend it yourself to give it an additional rec.
