Forget global warming, how will the business landscape change due to the fundamental differences between a vehicle powered by an internal combustion engine and electric vehicles? A few weeks ago (roughly) the Marketfoolery gang discussed the impact EV's will likely have on O'Reilly's and AutoZone. As a Snap-on (SNA) shareholder, I am concerned because fewer moving parts in EV's likely stifles opportunities for the innovation on which SNA has built its business.

Any other ideas about a fleet increasingly comprised of vehicles with simplified hardware, and much more complicated software?
