How do you keep the cat hair off your fleece pants? I put mine on for the first time this year, and they immediately attracted all the orange cat hair in the vacinity. It doesn't help that little missy is one of those cats who insists on an inordinate amount of patting.
arrete - the fleece jacket is no problem. I don't get it.

I don't wear much fleece though, i wear sweatpants and usually a t-shirt, and that can get a bit hairy too, especially when i have to pick him up and wipe his paws when he comes in from outside. He does not like getting his paws wiped, so now he licks his paws while laying down on the mini-fridge outside in the screened in porch. He lies on the mini-fridge because that way i can see him from inside, the mini-fridge is the height of the window looking out on the screened in porch.

Hmmm. Maybe I'll look into sweatpants. I do have long underwear, but it's so bulky.
Little missy doesn't like being picked up either, and her claws let you know it.

My problem is Ali's favorite laying spot is on top of a shoe box on the closet dresser. To get there, she hops up & squeezes between my hangered slacks above the dresser.
So when I go to put them on,the last 6 inches are thoroughly caked with cat hair.It only took one outing where I didn't check the pants bottom before I'm religious above using a lint-roller.

I'd take a two-pronged approach. In order:
1) What is it about that spot that attracts her? Create another spot, that you would prefer, with the same attributes.
2) How can you block her access to that spot?
