In 20 years you’ll be 97; I’ll be 94. Then 117 and 114 will be Really Old.

No, I think 114 will be really dead. Almost every proposed solution to health care spending/debt is to reduce the level of care provided to seniors. Within the next 10 to 20 years, the government will provide virtually no effective health care to seniors over 75 to 80, and much less to those 65 to 80. There just isn't enough money to keep seniors alive into their 90s, much less over 100. I go on Medicare at the end of this year, and I'm not at all happy about it. I figure that the government will soon skyrocket the premiums and reduce the level of care, and that my massively expensive current BCBS coverage will look better and better, but it won't be available anymore to folks over 65.
