In other words, sit, spin in a lower gear at a higher cadence...

I must say, this is MUCH easier said than done - at least for me, who still churns away with a double chainring here in the NC mountains. My lowest gear is 39x27, and my cadence on mtns around here ranges from 55-75 depending on the gradient. I'd love to spin, but I simply cannot.

Which brings me to a question that I'd like to pose to the group, which I'll do in another post.
