In response to fingerplays' request for recommended stocks on sale, I have invested my largest total IRA holdings in Newport (NEWP).

It's currently about 14% under its 52 wk. high, which it reached on 9-26-00. That's about as "on sale" as NEWP ever gets.

But you don't need any sale price on NEWP to make tons of money.

I don't need to tell you that there are very few stocks in this current market that have set 52 wk. highs in the past couple weeks.

Not only that, but NEWP returns are:

1 year: 3,267 %
YTD: 1,200 %
6 months: 275 %
2 months: 60 %

These returns look mighty sweet, especially if your returns are in a tax-free Roth IRA. In fact, my Roth is currently ENTIRELY invested in NEWP, and I'm smiling all the way to retirement!
