In short, if you want trees, stay on land. They said there was really nice color coming into Quebec City, but other than that, not much arboreal eye candy.

Making my plans for next fall and will probably take the train up to Quebec City, stopping in Montreal (as you have to switch trains) for one night to visit my former travelling companion.

BTW - love the phrase "arboreal eye candy"!
